My First interview Experience TCS (off campus):-

                       After TCS invited our college to attend the interview drive on 27th July 2016. I took that as a serious thing and started to prepare for that like surfing last drive interview question and answers. When the day came 27th they asked us to come by 9:30am to karpagam engineering.

                      The process of interview are 

• Aptitude( verbal and quantitative).
• HR/TECHNICAL round. 
• Group Discussion (final round).     

                       Actually don't think that final round always would be HR. But for us that din't work.

After selected in HR and TECHNICAL they asked us to wait for GD and we all done.

                       

                       Ok now its time for the best part. Actually TCS invited 25 college around the state. also nearby state colleges. we expected like 3500 students to be there for the drive but unfortunately

its like 6500 students. backyard auditorium was full. As they said Aptitude would start by 10 am.

we all expecting that exam would start by 10 or 11. we all waiting for so long.now its like 2 pm. students started to blabber here and there that interview still dint started actually interview is going for other colleges. but only for minimal students. After 13 hours of waiting. Its not a joke really 13 hours of waiting. Our placement officer told be in a line for the test. Ufff finally we all done . like we thought again they made us to wait in line for 30min. 

                       Its like 12 am midnight. I mean next day. we are allowed to take the test. waiting for 14 hours in college. APTITUDE questions are like 30 quatative(80min) and Email writing(10min minimum of 50 words) totally 100min. clearly the test was gone really smooth. actually i appreciate TCS to not to let go students by telling its over time we got students what we need. I appreciate the staffs of TCS to be there for us even when the time delays. after completing i have reached my home by 3 am early morning and got some sleep 

          

                      That day morning 9 am. i got a mail from TCS  that you have been shortlisted for the next round . Be in college at 1:45 pm they said. Ok we all there at 1:45. again its like 1000 people who got selected for Technical and HR. now its like 6 hours of waiting. My name was called by the interviewee. Hundreds of butterflies are flying in my stomach. Actually i made some preparation already to how to impress our HR like that by YouTube. you can also see some videos to know how a interview looks like. And my HR asked tell something about yourself. I answered and now he stared to ask some technical wish questions related to NETWORKING and PROGRAMMING as per the job designation. I feel really confident because my HR was really a sweet and calm man may be i am lucky to have a HR like that. 

                    After all the question he said " Wait for some time in front of office for the results " .And i am waiting for 20 min. actually if we got selected we need to attend the GD . Finally some name came without mine. I thought i dint got selected. after calling some names they said those people 

"now you can leave the building "

                  

                      Seriously i got selected for Group discussion. they said us" you guys have group discussion " and we are like 5 students for group discussion. after all arranged officer said lets start. the topic is which is better ANDROID or IOS. Every guy need to talk for 45 sec because our HR need to leave the building by 8 45 to catch the train. So they are making the process really fast.

                  

                       After GD. they said to "you guys will get your results by tomorrow". I was happy because i have completed every round successfully  without any elimination. even i am selected or not i got a best experience from this interview. Because any interview will not have this kind of waiting process. In my life time again iam saying we all entered 9:30 am morning for the interview but we are allowed to take test only by 12:00 am midnite .like 13 hours of waiting guys. Finaly the day was really happy.

APTITUDE -- QUANTITATIVE - I personally recommend to listen what placement training given by your college and also i say to take some test from the above website. Also go through BARRONS'S GRE 12th edition for verbal and critical resoning and also for antonyms and synonyms 

TECHNICAL / HR -- Learn basics in C , C++, JAVA and also learn basics in sorting also try to put online programming problems from this website https://www.hackerearth.com/challenges

GD -- talk from your mind and communication is really important guys
